- Is eve ready for production?
- eve is in beta under Vercel’s beta terms as of 16 October 2026, and its APIs may change before general availability. We offer it with that label, pin the version, and test each upgrade before it goes live.
- Does it work on WhatsApp in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or India?
- WhatsApp is one of eve’s listed channels. We test the channel end to end in your country before go-live and do not promise it works until we have.
- How does a person approve a step?
- A tool marked as needing confirmation pauses the session until someone approves or rejects it. With Jev, routine calls can be cleared first, and anything flagged waits for a person. If the review fails, eve asks a person.
- What does eve cost?
- Vercel lists no separate eve charge. You pay for the Functions, Workflows, Sandbox, AI Gateway model use and tracing the agent uses. Hobby is for non-commercial use only.
- Can we run it without Vercel?
- eve is open source under Apache-2.0, and its site says the whole runtime can be self-hosted, for example with Postgres and Docker. We run it on Vercel by default, where Workflows and Sandbox come ready.
- Where does the data sit?
- eve uses the regions of the Vercel products underneath. Vercel has no region in the UAE or Saudi Arabia; Mumbai is the closest. We confirm residency per project before you sign.
