Where menu boards go wrong

Four things that put the wrong price on a Gulf menu board.

FAQ

What restaurant owners ask first.

Does it take care of the SFDA caffeine and salt rule for us?
Partly. We add the caffeine line and salt icon to your Saudi templates during setup, and you decide which dishes carry them. The rule itself is the SFDA’s.
Do calories have to be on Dubai menu boards?
It depends on your outlet and Dubai Municipality’s current guidance; check with them. The calorie field is there today if you show calories.
Can a branch manager mark a dish sold out?
Yes. Switching a dish off in the menu takes it off every board that reads that menu. If each branch needs its own sold-out list, we give each branch its own menu during setup, and its manager can only touch that one.
What if the branch internet drops?
The boards keep playing what they have stored, and pick up changes when the connection is back.
Can we use the screens we already have?
Usually, yes, with a Windows or Android player behind them, or a commercial Samsung or LG screen. Non-Windows players need a one-off licence per screen from the player’s maker. We check your models in the first call.
What counts as a screen?
Each display with a player connected in a month. Logins for your team are free.
