Three site workers in blue coveralls, hi-vis vests and hard hats sit on a bench under a loading-bay canopy, each looking at his phone, while a supervisor in an orange vest stands nearby and a forklift works in the morning sun.

Mindcat Learn · the LMS UAE and Saudi teams finish on their phones

Every worker takes the induction on his phone, in his own language.

For contractors, FM firms, training institutes, hotels and clinics in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Build a course once, give it to your crews in Arabic, Hindi, Urdu or English, check it with a short quiz, and issue the certificate. Your HSE manager sees who has done what, site by site. Hosted in the UAE, or in the Kingdom on your own copy, from AED/SAR 15 per active learner a month. Send us who you train and you get a written setup plan and price within 24 hours.

Three phone screens of Mindcat Learn: the site induction in Hindi with completed lessons, a quiz question on when outdoor work stops in summer with 12:30 to 15:00 selected, and the same induction in Arabic right to left.

What it does · real screens

Staff training on the phone: the screens your people will use.

Captured from our own running copy with invented sample data: a Dubai facilities company with three sites, 42 people and 8 courses. Names are not real people.

  1. “Half the crew didn’t understand the toolbox talk.”

The course in each worker’s own language

Give the same induction in Hindi, Urdu, Arabic or English, one copy per language, and fix the language for each course. Menus and buttons follow: Arabic reads right to left. It opens in the phone’s browser, so there is nothing to install.

    Used by
Site workers, cleaners, security guards, new hires
    On screen
The induction in Hindi and in Arabic, and the quiz in English, on three phones.
Three phone screens: the site induction in Hindi with completed lessons on the camp bus and the midday break, a quiz question with 12:30 to 15:00 selected, and the same induction in Arabic right to left.
Phone course and quiz: understood the first time, in his own language.
  2. “An auditor asks who did the heat-stress module.”

A tick for every worker and every lesson

The completion matrix lists every worker against every lesson, quiz and certificate in a course. Put each site in its own group and the matrix shows one site at a time: who is done and who stopped at lesson seven.

    Used by
    HSE managers, site supervisors
    On screen

Activity completion matrix: workers down the side, the induction’s lessons, the video, the quiz and the certificate across the top, ticked or empty for each worker.
Completion matrix: the answer on audit day, without opening a binder.
  3. “The client wants the list for their site only.”

A report by site, ready to send

Build a table with the columns you need: worker, site, trade, language, progress, passed, completed on, last seen. Filter it to one site, download it as Excel, or have it emailed on a schedule.

    HSE managers, HR, operations directors

Report by site: one list for the client, filtered to their site.
  4. “I can’t tell at the gate who passed the induction.”

A certificate when the course is done

When a worker completes the course and passes the check, he downloads a PDF certificate with his name, the course, what it covered, the date, your HSE manager’s name and a code anyone can check.

    Used by
    Workers, gate supervisors, client auditors

  5. “I rebuild the same slides for every contract.”

    Courses your coordinator builds once

Sections, pages, videos, files and quizzes, each with its own completion rule. Reuse your existing slides, PDFs and videos, copy a course for the next site, and change one lesson for everyone.

    Used by
    Training coordinators, L&D managers
    On screen
The heat and midday break section of the site induction, in edit mode.
The course editor in edit mode with the section Heat and the midday break: a page on the 12:30 to 15:00 break, a four-minute video on heat stress, and a page on water and shade, each with a completion setting.
Course editor: change the lesson once, every site gets it.

Training and the rules

Where training records help, and where the rule stays with you.

Training records help you answer a regulator or a client’s auditor. They don’t replace the rule itself, and we never say a company is compliant because it uses software. This is what we read on the official pages, checked in October 2026.

The full price list

Every band, option and fee, in writing.

You pay per active learner per month: anyone who signs in to your learning site at least once that month. Crews who don’t sign in that month cost nothing. Trainers, coordinators, supervisors and admins are free. The price per learner drops as you grow, and each band’s price applies only to the learners inside that band.

USD is the AED price divided by 3.6725, to the cent. A buyer in Saudi Arabia pays the SAR number.

Worked example. A contractor with 120 workers who sign in this month pays 50 × 15 + 70 × 10 = AED 1,450 a month (SAR 1,450, USD 394.83). With 300 active learners it is AED 2,950 (USD 803.27). Below about 50 active learners the monthly minimum of AED 749 applies.

How you run it changes the multiplier.

One-time setup. Up to 50 active learners: AED/SAR 4,900 (USD 1,334.24). 51 to 200: AED/SAR 9,900 (USD 2,695.71). 201 to 1,000: AED/SAR 19,900 (USD 5,418.65). Above 1,000: from AED/SAR 34,900 (USD 9,503.06), scoped in writing. Setup covers your copy in the region you choose, your logo and colours, your users imported from a spreadsheet and grouped by site or department, your first courses built from your own slides, PDFs and videos (1, 2 or 4 by band), one certificate, one report by site or department, and training for your coordinators in Arabic and English. Extra work is AED/SAR 450 (USD 122.53) an hour.

Billed at cost, outside the learner price: storage above 50 GB per copy for video and files, and any outside service you ask us to buy for you, such as human translation of your courses. Annual prepay takes 15% off. Prices exclude 5% UAE VAT and 15% Saudi VAT.

FAQ

What Gulf training teams ask first.

Do workers need an app or a laptop?
No. They open the learning site in the phone’s browser and sign in with a username and password we create from your worker list. There is no app to install and no offline mode, so they need a data connection or the camp Wi-Fi.
Which languages does it work in?
The menus and buttons are in Arabic, right to left, and most screens are in Hindi and Urdu, with a few still in English. The course itself is in whatever language you write it. Most clients keep one copy of each course per language and fix the language on each copy.
Who writes the courses in Hindi, Urdu and Arabic?
You can, in the course editor. During setup we build your first courses from your own slides, PDFs and videos. If you want a human translator, we arrange one and bill it at cost.
Will a client’s auditor accept the records?
That is the auditor’s call, not ours. What you can show is a completion tick per worker and lesson, the quiz result, the certificate with its code, and the report filtered to the client’s site.
Where is the data stored?
In the UAE on shared servers. On your own servers, in the UAE or in Jeddah or Riyadh. In your own cloud, wherever your account is. Backups stay in the same country. Only the Mindcat engineers who run your copy can reach its servers; in your own cloud, your IT team decides who has access.
Does it connect to FutureX or HRDF?
No. Records for FutureX, HRDF programmes and DHA or DOH CPD stay on those platforms. Mindcat Learn is your own training site and records.
Can it send reminders on WhatsApp?
No. Supervisors see who is behind in the completion matrix and can message those workers inside the site or by email.
What counts as an active learner?
Anyone who signs in to your learning site at least once in a month. Workers who don’t sign in that month cost nothing. Trainers, coordinators, supervisors and admins are free.
Can we use the courses and videos we already have?
Yes. Slides and PDFs go in as files or pages, videos as links or uploads, and SCORM packages from training vendors play as they are. Storage above 50 GB is billed at cost.
Can we sign in with Microsoft 365?
Yes, for office staff, set up during setup. Site crews usually sign in with a username from your worker list.
What is it built on?
Mindcat Learn is built on a learning platform licensed under GPL-3.0. Any changes we make to it will be released under the same licence, and the copy we install on your own servers will link to that source. What you pay us for is the hosting in the region, the setup, your first courses and running it.
