A marketing manager and a developer in a Kochi brokerage office watch a property site go live after a code push.

Vercel · Hosting and integrations

Your website lives on one server, and one person has the login. Push to Git and it is live.

Today a new page waits for the one developer who knows the server. The certificate expires and the site shows a warning. On Vercel, a push to Git builds the site, a preview shows the change, and a merge puts it live. Vercel runs the servers, the certificates and the network. You pick a plan and a region, and we set both up.

The problem

What goes wrong with the server you have today.

What Hosting is

Hosting, in plain words.

Facts from Vercel’s own pages, checked on 16 October 2026. The sources are at the end of this page.

What it is
A platform that deploys and scales web apps, APIs and AI workloads from a Git repository or the Vercel CLI.
How a change ships
Every push to a branch on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps deploys. A merge to the production branch goes live.
The network
Over 126 points of presence and 19 compute regions on a private network. Vercel runs mainly on AWS.
Regions near you
None of the 19 regions is in the UAE, Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East. Mumbai (bom1) is the closest. Functions default to Washington, D.C. unless changed.
Plans
Hobby is free and for non-commercial, personal use only. Pro is $20 a month with $20 of usage included, then pay as you go. Enterprise is a contract. As of 16 October 2026.
What Enterprise adds
Multi-region compute and failover, a 99.99% SLA, SCIM and directory sync, managed firewall rules and a success manager.

How it works

From code in Git to a page your customers open.

Five steps. Nobody logs in to a server, and every change is a deployment you can see and undo.

Five steps: connect Git, push a change, a preview is built, merge to go live, served from the nearest edge.

The same steps are written out below.

Step by step

What happens at each step.

  1. Connect

    Connect your Git repository

GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps. Pick the framework, build settings and environment variables once.

  2. Push

    Push a change

A developer pushes to a branch. Nobody uploads files to a server.

  3. Preview

    A preview link is built

Every branch and pull request gets its own live link to check.

  4. Live

    Merge and it goes live

A merge to the production branch deploys to your domain.

  5. Serve

    Served from the nearest edge

Requests enter at the closest point of presence and travel on Vercel’s private network to the region where your code runs.

How it fits together

Where hosting sits between your customers and your systems.

Customers reach the nearest point of presence. Your code runs in one region, which should match your database. Leads and records still go to Salesforce. For Gulf customers, Mumbai is the closest region, so we say that before you sign.

Customers reach the Vercel network, the app runs in one of 19 regions beside its database, and leads go to Salesforce.

Use cases · worked examples

One worked example in each industry.

How Hosting fits into the work of the industries we serve, one step at a time.

  1. A Kochi brokerage site moves into Git, a new project page is pushed and goes live, and enquiries reach Salesforce.

Example 1 · Real estate, Kochi · Infographic

Marketing manager at a Kochi real estate brokerage

Today: Every new project page goes through the agency that built the site three years ago. They take a week to reply, and the old server is slow on launch days.

After: The site moves into the brokerage’s own Git repository and onto Vercel Pro. Code runs in Mumbai next to the database. A new project page is a push, a preview and a merge.

    Worked example, step by step

    1. Mon 10:00Developer. Moves the site into the brokerage’s own GitHub repository and connects it to a Vercel Pro team.
    2. Mon 11:00Developer. Sets the function region to Mumbai, next to the listings database.
    3. Wed 15:00Developer. Pushes the new project page to a branch. Vercel builds a preview link.
    4. Wed 16:30Marketing manager. Checks the floor plans and the enquiry form on her phone, and sends a test enquiry.
    5. Wed 16:35Salesforce. The test enquiry arrives as a tagged test lead.
    6. Wed 17:00Developer. Merges. The page is live on the brokerage’s domain.

A new project page goes live the same week, and the brokerage owns the code and the account.

  2. A Dubai cafe group updates its menu in one file, the owner checks a preview, and every branch page goes live.

Example 2 · Restaurants and cafes, Dubai · Infographic

Owner of a three-branch cafe group in Dubai

Today: The menu on the website is from last season. Changing it means emailing a PDF to a freelancer and waiting.

After: The menu lives in one file in Git. A change builds a preview, the owner checks it, and a merge updates every branch page at once.

    Worked example, step by step

    1. Thu 09:00Owner. Sends the new winter prices and two new dishes.
    2. Thu 10:00Developer. Edits the menu file and pushes it to a branch.
    3. Thu 10:03Vercel. Builds a preview link with all three branch pages.
    4. Thu 12:00Owner. Opens the preview on his phone and spots a wrong price on one dish.
    5. Thu 12:20Developer. Fixes the price and merges. The menu is live on every branch page.
    6. Fri 13:00Customers. Order from the new menu through the WhatsApp button on each branch page.

The weekend menu online matches the menu on the table.

  3. A Bengaluru agency moves thirty client sites into separate projects, with clients reviewing on preview links.

Example 3 · Digital agencies, Bengaluru · Infographic

Delivery lead at a Bengaluru digital agency

Today: Thirty client sites share one old server. When it restarts, thirty clients call. Some sites were put on a free plan that does not allow client work.

After: Each client site becomes its own project in one Vercel Pro team. Clients review on preview links with free viewer seats, and every site sits on a plan that allows commercial use.

    Worked example, step by step

    1. Week 1Delivery lead. Lists every client site, its domain and who approves changes.
    2. Week 1Developer. Moves each site into its own Git repository and Vercel project in the agency’s Pro team.
    3. Week 2Developer. Adds each client’s approver as a viewer. Viewer seats are free.
    4. Week 2Client. Opens a preview link, comments on the page and approves.
    5. Week 3Delivery lead. Sets a spend budget and alerts, then retires the old server.

One server restart no longer takes down thirty clients, and every site is on a plan that allows client work.

Is it for you

When Hosting fits, and when it doesn’t.

Good fit

Not for you yet

A business site or web app built with a framework such as Next.js
A rule says your data must stay in the UAE or Saudi Arabia
Marketing or sales changes pages every week
The site lives in a page builder that hosts it for you
You want to own the code and the hosting account
You need a fixed monthly bill: Pro usage is metered
Your customers can be served from a region outside the Gulf
You planned to run a business site on the free Hobby plan

What Mindcat does

We build it, then we run it.

The assessment is free: a short read of the org and a written note. If you go ahead, the first build week is a fixed AED/SAR 14,900 (about USD 4,050), credited in full when you sign the build within 60 days. After go-live, we keep it patched, watched and changing every month.

FAQ

What teams ask about Hosting.

Can we run our business site on the free plan?
No. Vercel restricts the Hobby plan to non-commercial, personal use only. A business site or client app needs Pro or Enterprise. Pro is $20 a month with $20 of usage included, as of 16 October 2026.
Is there a Vercel region in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
No. Vercel lists 19 compute regions and none is in the Middle East. Mumbai is the closest. Vercel’s compliance page also says data may be transferred to the United States and elsewhere. If a rule says your data must stay in the country, we tell you that in the assessment.
What will the monthly bill be?
It depends on traffic and compute. Pro adds usage on top of the $20 credit, pay as you go. New teams get a default on-demand budget of $200, which you can change, and you can tell Vercel to pause projects at a hard limit. We set a budget and alerts before go-live.
Do we own the account and the code?
Yes. We set up the Git repository and the Vercel team in your name and add ourselves as members. If you stop working with us, you remove us and keep everything.
What happens if a region goes down?
Vercel reroutes traffic to the next closest region. Failover of functions across regions is described for Enterprise customers.
