- Does a Lovable project need changes to run on Vercel?
- Lovable projects use TanStack Start and deploy with zero configuration through a GitHub sync, as long as @lovable.dev/vite-tanstack-config is 2.6.2 or later. We check that, then add what a live app needs: keys, previews and the Salesforce connection.
- Why does it need Nitro?
- On Vercel, TanStack Start runs with Nitro: you install nitro and add it to the Vite config. Nitro is what turns the server side into Vercel Functions.
- Can pages be cached and refreshed on a timer?
- Not with ISR: Vercel’s framework support table shows no ISR for TanStack Start. Pages render on each visit and can stream. If you need ISR, Next.js or Nuxt has it.
- Can it call AI models?
- Yes. Vercel documents TanStack AI with AI Gateway, TanStack AI with Vercel Sandbox, and the AI SDK. We keep the model calls in server functions.
- Where does it run for visitors in the UAE and Saudi Arabia?
- Vercel lists 19 compute regions and none of them is in the UAE or Saudi Arabia today. Mumbai (bom1) is the closest. If your data must stay in the country, tell us in the assessment: we confirm residency per project before you sign, and sometimes that rules Vercel out.
