Does it work with Vue or Angular?

No. Streamdown is a React component and needs React 19.1.1 or later. For another framework we would look at a different renderer.

Does it stop every unsafe answer?

No. It blocks images and links from addresses you did not allow and shows the full address before a link opens. What the model says is controlled elsewhere, in the prompt and the checks we build around it.

Can it show Arabic answers?

The docs list a plugin for Chinese, Japanese and Korean punctuation and do not mention Arabic. We test right-to-left answers in your chat window before go-live.

Do we have to replace our chat window?

Usually not. Its props match react-markdown, so in a React chat window it often replaces the renderer you already have.

What it is: An open-source Markdown renderer for React, made for content streaming from AI models. Apache-2.0 licence.
Half-written text: It parses unfinished Markdown so the answer looks right while it streams, with a caret while it types.
