If you schedule Instagram posts for a client from your own phone and nobody else could take over tomorrow, this is for you. It is not for a solo marketer with one brand on Instagram and Facebook: the free route is enough for you, and this page says so.
Can you stay on the free route?
Often, yes. Stay on Instagram's own scheduler or Meta Business Suite while all four of these are true.
- One person runs the accounts.
- You post for one or two brands.
- The brief is Instagram and Facebook only.
- Nobody has to see a post before it goes out.
Four yeses and a paid tool buys you very little. You would pay for a calendar you already have.

What does Meta say the free route covers today?
Windows change, so read them from Meta, with the date.
Meta's help page on scheduling further ahead, read on 30 October 2026, says that without a subscription you can schedule Instagram content up to 30 days in advance, and up to a year (365 days) with a Meta One plan. It names the Advanced, Expert and Max plans for the longer window. It also says product tagging, collaborative posts, sponsored posts and fundraisers are not compatible with scheduled content at this time.
Older guides give other windows. Some say 75 days, some say Business Suite has no limit. Do not plan a quarter from a guide. Open the date picker in your own account and look at the furthest day it lets you choose.

When does free stop being enough?
When two of these four are true.
One sign alone is a nuisance. Two together mean the free route is costing you in time, and the cost grows with each client.
Agencies describe the same strain in their own words. A social media manager in a Hopper HQ case study said of Meta Business Suite: "They'll be like, 'Hey, you didn't post for two days,' and I'm like, well, they're scheduled… and it's that they just didn't go through, and I have to post them manually, which is very inconvenient." A Buffer case study on a boutique agency says its team had two options for client messages: "log in with the client's credentials (a security risk), or navigate Meta Business Suite (time-consuming and clunky)." Both are vendor case studies, so read them as one side of the story. They match the signs above.

Our test is one question. Could you show, in ten seconds, who approved the version that went out last Thursday? If the answer is a scroll back through a group chat, the approval has no home yet.

What does a tool cost at two clients?
Two clients, with Instagram and Facebook for each, is four channels. At AED 49 a channel that looks like AED 196 a month. It is not.
The shared plan has a minimum of AED or SAR 690 a month, which covers up to 15 channels. Four channels pay 690. The per-channel price only matters once you pass that minimum, which is why a two-client agency should compare AED 690 a month against a free route that costs it no money and some of its time.
For five clients on four networks each, 20 channels, the graduated price is 10 channels at AED 49 and 10 at AED 35, or AED 840 a month. Check your own count against the live page before you decide. Our page also says Buffer costs less than we do at 30 channels, and that if your team is one person with five channels and no clients to ask, Buffer's per-channel plan or the networks' own apps may be all you need.
What does Mindcat Social do today, and what is left out?
At Mindcat, we set up one calendar, client-approved, for agencies and in-house teams in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The calendar shows every post with its state: draft, needs client approval, approved, published, failed. A failed post turns red with the reason. Clients approve from a link on their phone with no account, and your team members are free and unlimited.
What is left out, so you can plan around it:
- Publishing to each network starts once that network approves our app during setup. Meta and TikTok reviews can take weeks, and your written plan says which networks go live first. We do not post to Instagram on day one.
- Snapchat is not a channel today.
- WhatsApp posting is not offered. WhatsApp conversations run on Mindcat Inbox.
- Arabic screens are partly there. The layout runs right to left, but the translation is machine-made.
What does it cost?
You pay per connected channel a month. A channel is one Instagram account, Facebook page, TikTok account, LinkedIn page, X account, YouTube channel or Google Business Profile location.
Channels 1 to 10 cost AED or SAR 49 each, 11 to 30 cost 35, 31 to 100 cost 25 and above 100 cost 15. Each band's price applies only inside the band. The shared plan, your own workspace on our servers in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, has a minimum of AED or SAR 690 a month that covers up to 15 channels, so always read the per-channel price together with that minimum. An agency with 30 channels pays AED 1,190 a month.
There is no self-serve start. Every plan begins with a written plan and setup, a package we run for you. The one-time setup is AED or SAR 1,900 for up to 10 channels, 3,900 for 11 to 30 and 7,900 for 31 to 100. Paid platform API access, such as X, and AI usage are billed at cost. Prices exclude 5 percent UAE VAT and 15 percent Saudi VAT.
Tell us how many clients and channels you post for, and how approvals work today. We reply with the setup plan and the monthly price per channel, in AED or SAR. If the free route is enough, we say that first.
